Up for sale is a rare and exquisite antique Royal Bayreuth fine porcelain miniature vase featuring a hallmarked British sterling silver collar rim.
Silver Collar Hallmarks & Provenance:
Assay Office: Anchor stamp representing Birmingham, England.
Silver Standard: Lion Passant certifying .925 Sterling Silver.
Date Letter: Lowercase letter in shield with cut corners dating the silver mount precisely to c. 1904–1905 (Edwardian era).
Maker's Mark: Silversmith initials stamped into the silver band.
Porcelain Details:
Maker Stamp: Marked on the underside with the classic blue Royal Bayreuth coat-of-arms stamp: "Royal Bayreuth PRIV. 1794 BAVARIA".
Design: Beautiful hand-decorated nursery scene depicting young children playing hand-in-hand ("Ring-a-Ring-o'-Roses") against a rich satin brown ground.
Form: Spherical body supported on four raised ball feet.
Dimensions: Measures approximately 7 cm in height.
