Moldavite is a rare tektites made of natural glass formed by a meteorite 15 million years ago a massive asteroid impact melted local rock and Earth's surface, launching material into the atmosphere that cooled into glass as it fell back down.Genuine pieces of Moldavite are deep forest green, olive green, or greenish-blue with irregular features and matte texture.Authentic pieces are easy to tell as they show rough, sculpted surfaces and internal gas bubbles that can be visible but more visible under magnification. This stone can be quite hard to fake if looking for the right things.
